While you wait for your emergency dental appointment:

- Avoid chewing on the affected side
- Take over-the-counter pain relief if it is suitable for you, following the instructions on the pack

- If a tooth has been knocked out, hold it by the crown, keep it in milk and call us straight away

No, we welcome both registered and non-registered patients for emergency appointments.
How much does an emergency dental appointment cost?
During opening hours, an emergency appointment is from £69 for existing patients and from £99 for new patients. Our out of hours call out fee is from £160. The final cost depends on the problem and any treatment required, and we will always explain costs clearly before starting. See our fees page for details.
Can you treat the problem on the same day?
We aim to provide immediate relief and may begin treatment during your emergency appointment. However, some treatments may require a follow-up visit depending on complexity.
Can a tooth infection go away on its own?
No, a dental infection will not go away without treatment. While symptoms may temporarily improve, the infection will remain. Our dentists can give you full detailed advice during your appointment.
What should I do if I have a dental emergency?
If you experience pain, trauma, swelling, or damage to a tooth, contact the practice as soon as possible. Our team will assess your situation and arrange an urgent appointment where needed.
